
The A2 Sport Science class from Our Lady’s Grammar School Newry held a special Camogie 7s competition in honour of Celine McAteer, a dedicated teacher from Our Lady’s who served the school community for 38 years.
Known for her enthusiasm and passion for education, Celine left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

The tournament featured teams from six schools: Our Lady’s, St Mark’s, St Joseph’s , St Malachy’s, Our Lady’s and St Patrick’s Knock, and Assumption. The teams showcased outstanding skill and sportsmanship throughout the day.

In the finals, Assumption emerged victorious, clinching the Cup Final to become the overall winners of the competition. Meanwhile, St Malachy’s secured the Shield Final, rounding off an impressive display of talent and dedication in a fitting tribute to Celine’s legacy.
