Another yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for snow and ice, from 15:00 on Thursday 21st November until 10:00 on Friday 22nd November. Wintry showers will develop this afternoon and continue overnight into Friday morning, while ice will readily form on untreated surfaces.

It is likely that roads will be impacted, which could cause travel delays/cancellations. The Met Office encourages everyone to leave the house earlier than normal to combat any delays and to reduce the risk of accident.

Showers will fall as snow over hills, with icy patches elsewhere.
What should I expect?
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
